    What is Garlic Bread?

Garlic bread is a type of bread that is flavored with garlic and butter or olive oil. The bread can be made from different types of bread, including baguette, Italian bread, or sourdough. Garlic bread is typically sliced and then toasted or grilled until crispy. It's often served as a side dish to pasta dishes or as an appetizer.

    Where Did Garlic Bread Originate?

Garlic bread is believed to have originated in Italy, where it's called "pane all'aglio." The first recorded recipe for garlic bread dates back to the 1940s, but it's likely that people have been making garlic bread for centuries.

Garlic bread became popular in the United States in the 1970s, thanks to the rise of Italian-American cuisine. Today, garlic bread is enjoyed in many countries worldwide and is often served in Italian restaurants or pizzerias.

    What Is Pull-Apart Cheesy Bread?

Pull-apart cheesy bread is a type of bread that is typically made by cutting a loaf of bread into small pieces, then stuffing the pieces with cheese and garlic before baking them until the cheese is melted and bubbly. It is a popular appetizer or snack, often served at parties or as a side dish.

Instructions To Make This Garlic Bread Recipe With Cheese

This is a step-by-step tutorial on how to make this delicious garlic bread recipe with cheese. The recipe is super simple, and you can whip it up in no time!

mixing butter mixture for garlic bread

Preheat your oven to 400°F. While your oven is preheating, Mix the butter, parmesan garlic sauce, garlic powder, & red chili flakes in a bowl until fully combined. Set aside.

Using a sharp knife, create a grid in your bread. 3 vertical cuts & 2 horizontal cuts. (you should have 12 squares in each slice of bread) DO NOT fully cut through the bread. You still want to be able to pick up the bread slices in one piece.

Flip one slice of bread over to where the cut side is facing down. Place 2 of the provolone cheese slices on the slice of bread. Sprinkle the shredded parmesan & mozzarella mix on-top of the provolone. Take the second slice of bread & place it cut side up.

Taking a knife or fork, spread half of the butter mixture on the top slice of bread. Make sure that it has an even layer of the mixture.

Repeat steps 1-4 to create another garlic bread "sandwich". Place both "sandwiches" on to an oven safe mesh rack. I love using round pizza racks made for ovens.

Bake in the oven for 10 minutes. After the 10 minutes is up, pull the garlic bread out & spread out the butter mixture once more using a knife & place back in the oven for 3 minutes or until golden brown.
