Tired Of Traditional Pizza Dough? Why Biscuit Dough Rocks for Breakfast Pizza!

Let's chat about biscuit dough, our not-so-secret weapon in the breakfast pizza recipe. It's convenient, fluffy, and oh-so-easy to work with. Whether you're craving a classic bacon and egg combo or feeling adventurous with ham and peppers, biscuit dough can handle it all. Plus, it saves you precious time in the kitchen, so you can spend more time enjoying your morning. Talk about a win-win!

Making Your Breakfast Pizza Magic Happen

Let's break down how to make this breakfast pizza magic happen. First up, preheat your oven and prep your biscuit dough. Then, slather on your choice of toppings. Pop it in the oven, and before you know it, you'll be indulging in a piping-hot slice of breakfast bliss. It's that easy!

opening biscuit can and removing dough
    Remove dough from can
    hands pressing out dough
    Press the biscuit dough together.
Poke holes using a fork where the toppings will be so the dough doesn't rise while baking.
    spreading butter on the dough
Spread egg or butter wash on the dough.
drizzling hot honey on to pizza
Top the pizzas with your choice of topping and bake!

Perfecting Your Pizza: Tips for Baking and Serving

Before you get cooking, here are a few pro tips to ensure breakfast pizza perfection.

    • Preheat your oven, go easy on the toppings to avoid a soggy crust, and don't forget to garnish with fresh herbs for that extra pop of flavor.
    • For my scrambled egg pizza and sweet fruit pizza, I baked the dough before adding toppings. I did this for the scrambled egg pizza so that I could separately scramble the eggs & keep the dough from getting soggy. For the fruit, I did this so the whipped cream wouldn't melt.

Whether you're flying solo or feeding a crowd, breakfast pizza is sure to be a hit!
