how to make this garlic bread recipe with cheese - complete how-to guide

1

Preheat your oven to 400°F. While your oven is preheating, Mix the butter, parmesan garlic sauce, garlic powder, & red chili flakes in a bowl until fully combined. Set aside.

2

Using a sharp knife, create a grid in your bread. 3 vertical cuts & 2 horizontal cuts. (you should have 12 squares in each slice of bread) DO NOT fully cut through the bread. You still want to be able to pick up the bread slices in one piece.

3

Flip one slice of bread over to where the cut side is facing down. Place 2 of the provolone cheese slices on the slice of bread. Sprinkle the shredded parmesan & mozzarella mix on-top of the provolone. Take the second slice of bread & place it cut side up.

4

Taking a knife or fork, spread half of the butter mixture on the top slice of bread. Make sure that it has an even layer of the mixture.

5

Repeat steps 1-4 to create another garlic bread "sandwich". Place both "sandwiches" on to an oven safe mesh rack. I love using round pizza racks made for ovens.

6

Bake in the oven for 10 minutes. After the 10 minutes is up, pull the garlic bread out & spread out the butter mixture once more using a knife & place back in the oven for 3 minutes or until golden brown.
