Sprinkles are where we take this to the next level! Colorful, customizable sprinkles. They're like edible confetti, adding a pop of fun and personal touch to your blondies. You can go wild with rainbow sprinkles, mix and match different colors, or even pick themed ones for special occasions.
Preheat the oven & melt the butter in the microwave.
Add both of the sugars into a medium-sized mixing bowl.
Pour the melted butter into the bowl with the sugar and mix until combined.
Add the egg, vanilla extract, and almond extract to the sugar & butter mixture. Mix until combined.
Fold in the flour until just combined. Make sure not to overmix the batter or you could end up with crumbly blondies.
Line an 8x8 baking pan with parchment paper and spray with coconut oil or your preferred nonstick spray. Then pour the batter mixture into the pan. You may need to spread it a bit to make sure the batter reaches all four corners.
Top the batter with the sprinkles and bake for 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let cool for about 5-10 minutes before cutting. Enjoy!
