Banana Bread
- 1/3 cup Mashed Banana
- 1 tbsp Canola Oil
- 1/4 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 1/4 tsp Molasses
- 1 tbsp Dark Brown Sugar
- 1 tbsp Whole Milk
- 3 tbsp Flour
- 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- Pinch of Sea Salt
Streusel *SEE NOTES*
- 1 tsp Flour
- 1 tsp Dark Brown Sugar
- 1/3 cup Chopped Candied Nuts
Optional Toppings:
- Chocolate Chips
- Chopped Salted Nuts
- Butter
Instructions
- In a bowl whisk your banana, oil, milk, molasses, vanilla, & sugar. Mix until fully combined. About 30 seconds.
- Add in your flour, salt, baking powder, & cinnamon. Mix until fully combined.
- In a separate bowl mix up all of the streusel ingredients.
- In a microwave safe mug layer both the banana bread batter & streusel, starting with the banana bread batter.
- If you decide to add any toppings, add them now. I typically will use the rest of my streusel as a topping if there is any left & skip adding extra nuts.
- Microwave on high for 1 minute & 20 seconds.
- Let your Banana Bread Mug Cake sit in the microwave for 3 minutes before removing.

* If you would like to skip the streusel simply follow all of the other instructions & cooking times.
