How To Make Deviled Eggs: Jalapeño Popper Deviled Eggs

The process of making deviled eggs is actually quite easy! Wanna learn how to make deviled eggs? I've got you covered!

  • Total Time: 20 minutes
  • Yield: 24 deviled eggs 1x

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 12 Hard Boiled Eggs
  • 1/3 cup Mayo
  • 1/2 cup Soft Cream Cheese
  • 1/3 cup Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese
  • 1/4 tsp Smoked Paprika
  • 3/4 cup Diced Jalapeño Peppers
  • Salt & Pepper

Toppings:

  • 2 slices Pan Fried Pepper Jack Cheese
  • 1-2 slices Bacon, Chopped Small
  • Chives

Instructions

  1. Cut your hard boiled eggs in half vertically, & separate the yolks from the whites. Places the yolks in a bowl. Set the whites aside.
  2. Add the cream cheese & mayo into the bowl with the egg yolks & mix until fully combined.
  3. Add the cheddar cheese, diced jalapeños, smoked paprika, salt, & pepper into the egg yolk mixture & mix until fully combined. Set mixture in fridge for 10 minutes to firm up.
  4. While the filling is in the fridge, fry your pepper jack cheese. This is done simply by placing a slice of cheese into a nonstick pan on medium high until the cheese is golden! Flip & wait until other side is golden as well. When the cheese slices are done, wrap them in paper towels to absorb any access oils.
  5. Once the 10 minutes is up, fill your egg white back up with your deviled egg mixture. I like to use a miniature ice cream scoop for this.
  6. Garnish your eggs with chives, bacon bits, & a shard of fried cheese & serve! Place in fridge if you aren't serving immediately!
