- 12 oz. of Fetucinni pasta
- 2 Cajun Sausages (cut up)
- 2 Tbsp. of salted butter
- Zest & juice of 1 lemon
- 1 clove of garlic
- 1 oz. of cream cheese
- 1-2 Tbsp. of Better than bullion (chicken) *see notes*
- 2 Tbsp of whole milk
- Fine cut parmesan cheese
- Red chili flakes
- Flat leaf parsley
- Salt & Pepper
Instructions
- Start by cooking the noodles in salted water. Once the noodles are done cooking set about a cup of pasta water aside. While the noodles are cooking browning the sausage in a pan.
- Set the sausage aside & add the butter into the pan with the fat from the sausage.
- Add the zest from the lemon & garlic into the pan. Cook until the garlic is golden.
- Now add in the cream cheese & the better than bullion into the pan.
- Stir continuously until the cream cheese is melted. Then add in the lemon juice & whisk until combined.
- Add the milk, salt, & pepper. Whisk until combined. If you want to make the sauce thicker, gradually add in pasta water until you are happy with the consistency. Take the sausage & add them back into the sauce.
- Finish by adding the noodles into the pan & mixing. Top off the noodles with a generous amount of parmesan, a sprinkle of chili flakes, & some parsley or cilantro! Enjoy!
Notes
* If you want more of a chicken flavor add 2 tbsp of the bullion but keep in mind that it is salty so make sure you taste the sauce before adding any extra salt!
